HOW TO SAUNA
New to Sauna Sessions?
We love introducing people to the delights contrast therapy has to offer. Here’s a simple guide to help you make the most of your time with us.
1. Warm Up
Start by stepping into the sauna and getting comfortable. Let the heat work its magic as your body begins to relax. Breathe deeply and take it at your own pace – you’re in charge of your session. We recommend starting out with 5 minute sauna sessions, gradually increasing to up to 15 minutes.
2. Cool Down
After relaxing in the warmth, step out and refresh yourself in the fresh air. If you're comfortable, ease yourself into one of our ice plunges. We recommend very short periods of cold exposure first, to acclimatise yourself. The rush of cold air and water helps boost circulation, wakes up your senses, and leaves you feeling totally invigorated.
3. Repeat the Cycle
For the full experience, repeat the hot and cold cycle 3-4 times. You’ll feel the benefits build with each round.
4. Hydrate & Rest
Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout your session – staying hydrated is key. Once you’re done, take a moment to relax and enjoy that post-sauna glow.
Tips for the Best Sauna Experience:
Wear a swimsuit or light, comfortable clothing.
• Bring a towel to sit on inside the sauna, a towel to dry off with, and water bottle.
• Listen to your body – if you need to take a break, step out, take a seat and cool down.
• Avoid heavy meals or alcohol before your session.
