THE BAKE YARD | WIMBORNE

Settle into the warmth of our traditional wood-fired sauna and cool off in one of two invigorating cold plunges and outdoor shower.

Tucked beneath two old oak trees, our barrel sauna overlooks wide fields and a glowing sunset sky. Simple, peaceful, and the perfect place to slow down. 

Our community sessions welcome up to eight people at £15 per person, an easy, grounding way to slow down and reconnect. You can also hire the sauna privately - scroll down for more information.

Sessions are mixed, shared and guided by your own comfort level. We'll always be on hand for support and guidance. 

How a Session Works:

Arrive at least 10 minutes early, with your swimwear under your clothes. We'll give you a quick brief and a chance to get changed and ease into the heat.

Move between heat, cold and rest at your own pace.

There’s no pressure to stay in the hot or cold for set times, listen to your body. We will never pressure you to use the cold plunges either - all bodies are different!

You’re welcome to chat, laugh and connect, or enjoy some quiet time. Both are encouraged here, but please be mindful of your fellow sauna users and be respectful of your volume and conversation. 

This is also a textile sauna, meaning you are required to wear swimwear during your sauna session. 

Private sessions: 

We also offer private Wimborne sessions for £95 an hour, giving you exclusive access to the sauna, cold plunges, and outdoor space. Ideal for mindful gatherings, self-care time, or a cosy meaningful time to spend with loved ones.

For private sessions, we offer the optional add on for natural salt scrubs, clay masks and refreshing facial sprays, towels and robes - just drop us an email after you've booked.

1.5-hour sessions or private slots outside of the times listed below are available on request - drop us a message!

What to bring:

• Swimwear 
• 2 towels (one to sit on, one to dry yourself afterwards)
• Drinking water 
• Outdoor shoes (flip flops, crocs, sliders etc)
• Warm, loose clothing for after 
• Please note there is limited space for changing, so a robe or easy clothing to change in and out of is recommended! We're working on getting changing rooms built ASAP.

Set your maps to MyDentist, Wimborne Road, Wimborne. Head down the track next to MyDentist all the way to the end, where you'll see parking on your left. Once parked, follow the signs to find us!
